It's one of the early Myst clones, however it is very short. Never having played it before, I managed to beat it in about 20 minutes. The ending is very... Odd and a tad ambiguous. If you see this as part of a bundle or perhaps during a summer sale and want to get a feel for what the industry was up to when Myst was out, this is an excellent example. I still find it interesting that it originally came out for the Atari Falcon.. So the dev for this game, Orion_, he put the games in a greenlight bundle on Groupees, which was quite sucessful, got him enough greenlight votes to get the game on steam. The he viciously turned on his fanbase, refusing to give keys, calling them horible names, and accusing them of being greedy. He deleted any threads about keys, and kept up these antics, but eventually gave in and gave keys to customers through Groupees. However in his now deleted post he was once again vicious about it. If you enjoy puzzle games that remind you of Myst, ignore the negative reviews here and give this game a shot. Elansar is pretty good game. The puzzles and plot both make sense and tie together well. The game had an engaging story, and it's definitely worth at least the $1 it's being sold for.It's true that it's short and has little replay value, but there are no bugs and it does come across as a finished product. I felt a sense of accomplishment when I beat it. One minor issue is that once you beat the game you can't play anymore unless you manually delete your save data or reinstall the game, but if you solved this game's puzzles then this is no problem.Bottom line: If being stuck on a mysterious island appeals to you, give this a shot to cut your teeth on before moving up to some of the longer, more difficult games.. Dev of this game is a scammer. Keys were promised to buyers of this bundle https:\/\/groupees.com\/remute9 dev refuses to give said keys out. Also deletes threads in the forums and such fun stuff.
